Our jazz classes combine the foundations of ballet with upbeat, dynamic music to create energetic, styled movement with emphasis on syncopation, expression, improvisation, and rhythm. The class with be a combination of conditioning/warm up, stretching, and variety of across and center floor combinations. Leaps and turns are an essential part of this class.

All jazz students level 2 and above are required to maintain at least one ballet technique class per week. Each jazz class will perform one routine in the spring performance. 60 minutes. Ages 7-16. Placement determined by director.
