This class is an energetic and playful study of yoga postures, breathing techniques and mindfulness. Our dancers will gain strength, flexibility, consistent alignment, balance and build core muscles. We will explore a variety of ways to create solid muscular strength so that we can feel powerful and and controlled in our movement.
Through our practice, we will discover how to find stillness and inner peace not only in our bodies but also in our thoughts. In this clear and present frame of mind, we can explore our true selves and come to a place of acceptance, compassion and joy for ourselves and for all beings, and learn to create our own tranquility and balance even in the most stressful times or environments.
