WHAT IS MOVE OUT LOUD’S HIP HOP CREW?

Our hip hop crew offers an opportunity for above and beyond recreational dancers to get a taste of being on a competitive dance team, and to spend more time doing what they love, with other kids as focused and driven as they are.

Our hip hop crew will train 3-4 hours per week in hip hop plus strength and stretch for summer and one additional style of their choice in fall.

They will compete one hip hop dance for the 2024-2025 season at 3 regional competitions. Regional competitions are usually in Madison, Wisconsin Dells or Milwaukee. They will also perform their piece in the spring recital. No national competition for our Crew!

Additional classes at the studio are encouraged but not required for participation 🙂

2024 SUMMER TRAINING

SUMMER SESSION

Our 8 week session runs
Monday, 6/17 – Thursday 8/15
(no class July 4-7)

Dancers will be assigned and registered for the classes needed to audition. Everyone will be placed in the levels we see fit for summer training.

Please register on your own for all camps, summer rec classes and optional classes.

Our fall schedule will be released in early July.

TO AUDITION

Dancers must have completed one year of class at Move Out Loud OR have received director approval.

Dancers new to the studio can contact us to set up an assessment session.

Families must have all outstanding fees paid in full.

Dancers must attend the required summer classes.

CLASS REQUIREMENTS

Our crew compete one hip hop dance for the 2024-2025 season at 3 regional competitions. Crew will also perform in the spring recital. No nationals for our Crew!

Required summer classes:
1 hip hop technique class
1 hip hop choreography class
1 strength and stretch class

Required school year classes:
one hip hop technique class
one hip hop choreography class
one elective class

FEES

Tuition

Team class tuition is based on the number of training hours per week. View the tuition scale HERE.
Summer camps and rec classes are not included in team hours.

Team Fees

Dancers are charged a team fee to help cover the additional administrative time and extra costs associated with maintaining the excellence and creativity of our dance team.
Summer Team Fee: $35 per month
School Year Team: $30/month for first routine and $10/month per additional routine.

Late Fees

All late payments will result in a $35 late fee in addition to any insufficient funds fees.

Payment Types

Dance team families are asked to pay tuition & team fees by check or cash. If you’d prefer to use a credit/debit card, you may, but will be charged a 3% processing fee.
