PRESCHOOL BALLET
Our Preschool Ballet class is the perfect first step into the world of dance! Designed especially for young children, this class introduces the foundations of ballet in a playful, age-appropriate way. Dancers will learn basic ballet positions and movements while exploring rhythm, coordination, balance, and musicality.
Each class blends structured instruction with imaginative activities — using props, storytelling, and creative games — to keep little ones engaged and inspired. Beyond dance skills, children build confidence, focus, and social skills in a supportive, nurturing environment.

BEGINNING BALLET
Beginning Ballet builds on the joy and foundations introduced in preschool classes, giving young dancers a stronger sense of structure while keeping movement playful and creative. Students learn basic ballet positions, simple barre work, and traveling steps, all while developing coordination, balance, and musicality. This level helps children gain confidence, focus, and an early understanding of ballet technique in a positive and encouraging environment.

ELEMENTARY BALLET
Elementary Ballet takes dancers further in their training, emphasizing technique, alignment, and musicality. Students work more intentionally at the barre and in center, learning combinations and beginning to refine their movements with control and grace. Alongside technical growth, they continue to explore artistry and self-expression. This level provides a strong foundation for future ballet study while fostering discipline, creativity, and a lasting love for dance.

PRE-POINTE
The curriculum for pre-pointe is designed to set up dancers for success en pointe. This class emphasizes strengthening and alignment exercises for the legs and feet.
Pre-pointe may also be recommended for a dancer who is physically unable to undertake the rigors of pointe work, but can benefit from the exercises offered and would enjoy learning about the process of dancing on pointe. Dancers remain in pre-pointe until they are formally advanced by the instructor to study on pointe. Director approval required for participation. 30 minutes. Ages 12+.
POINTE
Pointe is the part of classical ballet technique in which a dancer supports all body weight on the tips of fully extended feet while wearing structural reinforced pointe shoes. In order to be able to dance en pointe, a dancer must have had time to achieve the form, strength, and alignment needed to make a successful transition into pointe work, and must possess the emotional maturity necessary for the hard work and commitment that pointe entails. 30-45 minutes. Ages 12+. Director approval required for participation.
